He invites Estragon to commemorate his prime yet. That after they are honorable people. They walk among the important people and they together hand in hand down the Eifel Tower. Besides proud of his past, Vladimir has also appeared as a religious leader who is often wise to explain the circumstances in the Bible, but in fact he is confused and does not know what the purpose of the story. Vladimir says that one of the thieves was saved because he confessed his sin, therefore they must confess their sins, but  Estragon do not know what sin he had to admit. He also did not know about who his rescuer. Estragon also said that the gospels written by four people, but why only one who talked about the story of two criminals, even Estragon questioned what the actual contents of the Gospel itself. Vladimir and Estragon though someone who is not so clear origin and educational background, but they discuss things that other people might not care about it. The arrival of Godot means rescue. At least, they could soon be free from dependence on waiting for Godot. This reminds us of the coming of Christ as written in the Christian doctrine. They are in a situation that is not free because of the attachment to wait for Godot, the characters are not coming. They are not only bound by Godot, but more than that they also look at the attachment to a particular place and also in a state of concern. Vladimir character is a character who is described as having responsibility. Fortunate to talk about God, but where the conversation widened. He spoke as if he will not stop. Estragon seems hopeless, he was no longer able to maintain the loyalty of waiting for Godot. Answer Vladimir says that Godot would punish them if they do not faithfully wait hinted that if there is no answer to that question. Because, how Godot punish them without coming to see them. Vladimir used to seem rational, ultimately helpless, too, she looked desperate. Apparently the rational mind can not solve the problem.
